GROCERY DELIVERY

At Doorstep, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the potential risk associated with certain members of the community going out to crowded grocery stores where the potential for Covid-19 contamination is elevated. We are happy to say that we now provide completely FREE OF CHARGE grocery delivery to Jackson, Madison County area homes. All of our volunteers are following the social distancing guidelines set by the CDC and state legislature in order to maintain the safety of themselves as well as those we serve. If you are a member of the community who is elderly, has a pre-existing condition, or simply fears going to the grocery store during this chaotic time, we encourage you to take advantage of our service.  It truly brings us joy to see members of the community taken care of! To make a grocery delivery request, please click on the link below. *An important note is that should you choose to pay with a credit card, and do not want to provide one of our volunteers with the card, we can also work with you to order the groceries through the online services offered by many grocery stores. This would allow you to pay online directly through the vendor, and we would then go pick up the groceries from the store and deliver them to your home.*
